Connected in Pride 2.0, a free virtual Pride celebration hosted by Monterey and Santa Cruz County’s leading LGBTQ+ organizations, will take place on Saturday, July 24th from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM via various virtual platforms.

Much like last year’s virtual Pride collaboration, this year’s event will also feature a series of live and recorded programs to celebrate the history, intersectionality, and shared connection within the LGBTQ+ community.

While communities continue to open up more, the group has decided to host, once again, a virtual Pride that will allow us to safely reconnect our LGBTQ+ communities.

As our marketing and communication committee notes, "Having Pride events is important for us to find a community and to celebrate our culture, while building confidence as well as allies. We look forward to bringing more in person and hybrid events in 2021, the Connected in Pride 2.0 kicks things off with a virtual event!"
